As some of you may know, I am now a vegan. I have been for nearly the past month and have been noticed that it has all started with looking and being in control of what I am eating and the amount that I am putting into my body. I found the way forward is through small snacks rather than large, heavy meals. Today I thought I would share with you some of my favourites and trust me you don’t need to be vegan to enjoy these tasty treats.
Nakd Bars are by far my most favourite vegan friendly snack ever! They taste amazing and all of the ingredients are 100% natural. Luckily enough, the bars are wheat, dairy and gluten free so are perfect for anyone with allergies too. My personal favourites are the Cocoa Orange and the Rhubarb and Custard ones. I am desperate to try some other flavours but anyone who knows me already knows how fussy I am trying new foods.
To some people, crackers are boring and half of the time they are right but if I am looking for something super quick I usually have four crackers with a bit of vegan friendly butter or almond butter. I usually dig into a punnet of grapes or cherry tomatoes to add 1 of my 5 a day into my diet. Crackers, to me, are extremely filling and tasty!
Last but not least are Rice Dream’s Chocolate Drinks. I usually have one of these in the morning with my breakfast or pop one in my bag for during the day. I find them refreshing, delicious and extremely chocolatey. At £1.50 for three, you can’t really complain about the price either. If your hungry add a piece of fruit, a handful of Oreo’s or a slice of toast and it makes the perfect snack!
