I have just got back from Alice‘s place, serious house goals, after spending a lovely afternoon with her, Edd and Lee eating Slimming World friendly food and talking about different life things. It’s been such a lovely Sunday and I couldn’t wait to share with you the display of food that we have made. Most of this is free foods, excuse the puddings and nearly all of it is vegetarian too.

The egg muffins were created by Edd and I. They are super simple and easy to make which are brilliant for breakfasts. I simply put a mix of spinach leaves and cherry tomatoes chopped into cake cases and whisked eggs to pour into the cases. Edd made the same version however with chopped up bacon and tomatoes. Cook them in the oven for 15 minutes or until they are golden.

The cheese and onion quiche pies were super simple to make to according to Alice. It’s as simple as mixing together a Pasta ‘n’ Sauce Cheese and Broccoli mix, Cheese and Onion Smash, three eggs and a tub of quark. It’s best to do them in a silicone muffin tray to stop them from sticking. Cook them for 25-30 minutes and viola, out comes something that tastes so delicious.

For pudding we had two different desserts to try as well as the speedy melon and strawberries. The first is the classic low fat yogurts and jelly dessert. I used strawberry vegetarian jelly and added fresh strawberries to the mix before it went in the fridge. It tastes so good and is free too! At the last minute, I crumbled a meringue nest so it was like a Slimming World friendly Eton Mess. I also attempted chocolate mousses using: fat free yogurt, quark and an options hot chocolate. It tasted nice but not as good as the Eton Mess pudding.

Overall we had a lovely afternoon with some really nice company. I can’t wait to do it again sometime soon.
