One of my favourite things about the festive season is getting your bedroom Christmas ready. I just find that it looks a lot more cosy with all the fairy lights and tinsel!

I love decorating the Christmas tree. It’s just a lovely thing to do with the family to get you all in the spirit of Christmas and the festive season. This year, I have actually made room to have a mini Christmas tree in my bedroom. This particular one was kindly gifted to me from Blossoming Gifts. I like how it came with the LED lights. It’s been up since the last week of November but let me tell you now, I love the smell of it! There’s just something about having a fresh Christmas tree. I have decorated the tree with my own baubles from a range of different stores including B&M Bargains and Sainsbury’s to give it a more colourful feel to match the rest of my room.

I also have The Snowman which I managed to get as part of a Black Friday deal at Build-A-Bear. He is so cute and looks so cosy sat in between my Christmas Tree and TV.

My room has so much colour now that I wanted a simple duvet print for my bed. My favourite thing about the Polar Bear Bedding is that the cotton is brushed fleece so it’s super warm for freezing cold evenings and mornings. I’ve also added my trusted heated blanket for extra warmth. I am sure that you will see this in the background of many Blogmas photos. Above my bed, I have added a turquoise and white tinsel that has three polar bear beanies on. I managed to find this hidden in the Christmas decorations that has been stored away for the past year.

Edd and I have went all out this year and treated ourselves to Personalised Disney Stockings. I am in love with them and can’t wait to fill Edd’s with all of his presents on Christmas Eve (although not much can fit in them because they are rather small). They are hanging on the bottom of my bed at the moment ready for Christmas morning but they do add a bit more festivity to my room.

Finally I have my very own Christmas elf. This is something that Edd’s mum knitted for me so I can take part in their family Christmas tradition. His mum, aunt, sister and now, myself, all have an elf that we display around the house to make sure that his nephew, Charlie, is behaving for Santa. I have named mine Arthur – like Arthur Christmas and he will be having many adventures throughout Christmas. We take photos each day and send them to each other via WhatsApp.
