Lush Christmas 2015

I can’t believe that it has been three weeks since the Halloween and Christmas product launch in Lush and I haven’t blogged about it yet! Here are a couple of pieces I have picked up from their Christmas collection, some old and some new but all loved.

First up is the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar, with the same classic sweet scent as the oh-so-famous Snow Fairy Shower Gel, it will leave you relaxing in a warm blanket of pink water covered in glistening bubbles. Did you know that I hated the sweet scents from products like these a couple of years ago and now I am head over heals for them! I have already used two bubble bars and will continue stocking up until they run out. Next up is Cinders, the small bath bomb is the one to go for if your needing a pick me up, with cinnamon and orange oil for the uplifting and stimulating fragrance and popping candy to cheer you up. It’s the one I go for when I am needing a treat after a long week at University and work. Personally I think it goes really well with the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar. New to my Christmas favourites is the So White Bath Bomb, probably due to how fresh the apple scent is but then how relaxing and peaceful the bath is with the blend of bergamot oil and rose absolute is.

Lush Christmas 2015

There’s a lot of new additions in the Christmas collection this year including the Cranberry Face Mask which is suitable for vegans. Cranberries are a really good antioxidant ingredient blended with the fennel seed which is an excellent cleanser, both work really well together. I have yet to try this product, although I’m rather excited, but I am hoping it will leave my skin feeling soft, moisturised and hydrated. I picked up two new bath bombs from the collection: Star Dust and Yog Nog. Star Dust is a rather uplifting bath bomb with rosewood and bergamot oil that I used to help lift your mood, a perfect one to use on a winter morning or as Lush suggests a little post-party recovery treat. However, Yog Nog is unlike anything I have had from Lush before. It reminds me off digestive biscuits when bathing in a rather moisturising bath. It has soya milk powder and shea butter to recreate a lovely, creamy bath that softens and moisturises the skin whilst the clove bud oil and ylang ylang oil releases contrasting spicy and sweet scents.

Lastly I picked up the Peeping Santa Bubble Bar. Like the Melting Snowman from last year, I found him adorable and I couldn’t wait to pick him up. His eyes are made from dairy free chocolate drops and the bar is formulated with shea butter for a lovely moisturising bath. The blended oils of bergamot, geranium and olibanum is aimed to relax your senses.

Next on my list are the Five Gold Rings and the Bûche de Noël Cleanser! What’s your favourite from the Christmas collection?
