Autumn Leaf was most definitely one of the new bath bombs that I was excited to try when I saw it across social media. The bath bomb is part of their Halloween collection so if you are as keen as I am, I would pick one up sooner rather than later.
One of the main reasons it stood out amongst all the other bath bombs was the unique leaf shape with the combo of autumnal colours. I haven’t seen something so gorgeous ever since I saw Unicorn’s Horn Bubble Bar for the first time. I am so in love with the colour and as you can see in the images, it looks beautiful when fizzing away in the bath. I used the Autumn Leaf with a bit of Grass Shower Gel to create some bubbles and I think the two products really complimented each other.
The scent of the bath bomb is rather fresh but not too overpowering which is why I quite like it. It’s something different to the ever so popular Snow Fairy scent that is thrown in our faces around this time of the year. The formulation includes bergamot and neroli oil which give a lovely but vague citrus scent which in turn grows stronger as it is fizzing away. The sandalwood oil is used to soothe and cool the skin as well as giving the bath bomb the fresh, wood scent. It is also used in combination with cream of tartar to soften and moisturise the skin which is perfect during the winter months. Goodbye dry skin!
The bath bomb fizzes slowly releasing shades of green, yellow, orange and red tones which reminded me of the leaves changing colours as the seasons switched up. Once the bomb has finished fizzing, it leaves the bath with a lovely golden shade where you can see slight green lustre but not so much that you get it all over your body. I would definitely pick up Autumn Leaf if your a fan of fresh scents and if your after a relaxing pamper evening.
