This week feels as though it has been a complete write-off. I haven’t been in the best of moods all week and have been feeling pretty crappy. It’s now Monday and I have realised that the one thing which has cheered me up more than anything is snuggling up on the sofa with the fire burning away, Christmas tree lights switched on and sticking on a good old Christmas film. Today, I have decided to share my top four favourite Christmas films which I love watching throughout December.

1. Elf – Everyone who I know either loves it or hates it but for me it is an all time classic. The movie came out while I still ‘believed’ in Santa and in all honesty it’s probably my most feel good, childhood film ever. Buddy the elf, what’s your favourite colour?
2. The Holiday – I turn to this one when I am wanting a chilled girls evening with popcorn and some romance. I love the actors in it and feel like it’s the perfect way to get yourself in the Christmas spirit but also to learn a few lessons about love and appreciating yourself for who you are.
3. Disney’s Santa Clause Trio – Who doesn’t love a bit of Tim Allen over the festive period. Again some Christmas Disney classics which are perfect for the whole family. I didn’t even realise there was a third one until this year but like the others it’s really good.
4. The Snowman – I remember last year, I sat watching it constantly. I developed a bit of an obsession. It is the perfect childhood classic which touches my heart every time I watch it.
