As a cruelty free beauty blogger, I am always on the look out for new vegan friendly makeup brands to try out. I am always falling in love with new product releases however these brands are the ones that I usually gravitate towards when something new comes out or I am standing browsing the makeup counter in my local Superdrug.

First up is Barry M, an old school classic of which I have been a massive fan off ever since I got into the world of makeup. From blusher to lipstick, I could have a whole face of just Barry M makeup and would be rather happy with how it looks. If I was to suggest one product it would have to be the Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polishes. They are my obsession because they last a week on the nails and dry super quick whilst still giving a lovely effect on the nails. The That’s How I Roll Mascara is another product on top of my list and is one that I have re-purchased many times before. It adds volume to your lashes and makes them appear a lot longer than they usually are.

I never thought I would be the one to steer away from Urban Decay but I have. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the brand and will probably always buy their latest eyeshadow palettes and lipstick collections however Too Faced as caught my eye most recently. Flashback to the Summer when I managed to get hold of their Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, well I have been in love with them ever since and really want to try more products from the brand. I have heard so many good things about the Better Than Sex Mascara, Sweetheart Blushers and Melted Lipsticks. I also really want to try another one or two of their palettes, not like I need any more.

When it comes to lipstick, I always take a look at Lippy Girl first. Personally, I think they are like a vegan friendly option to MAC which is much better for the environment and of course you will not be supporting animal testing. The lovely guys over at Botanical Brands recently sent me Surf Betty* which is a lovely nude colour for your lips, extremely different to the usual autumnal colours that is around this time of year however I love it. It’s one of those shades which is like ‘your lips but better’ so a smokey eye look will match perfectly with this lipstick. For those interested, I have previously done an in-depth review about their Son Of A Brick Lipstick too which you can read here.

My go-to brand at the moment for anything to do with foundation and concealer has got to be GOSH. Every time I try something new from the brand, I fall in love all over again and my makeup bag is quickly becoming over filled with their amazing collections. I am currently infatuated with the BB Powder. It leaves my skin looking flawless when applied as a powder to set my makeup but also gives some coverage to the skin when I am just using it by itself. Their Lash Sculpting Mascara, Velvet Touch Lipstick in Raisin and Natural Blush collection are just a few of my favourites that I believe everyone should have a look at when gazing at the counter.

Finally, how could I not have included Lush into this list. If you are a well-known reader of my blog then you will know that I love the brand so much! They just do everything spot on. I first started using Lush products when I tried Dream Cream to deal with my eczema and dry skin. Since then, I haven’t looked back. I have tried all of their bath bombs and have a lovely collection of shower gels, 23 when I last checked. Their makeup range is not to be forgotten about either. My current favourite is their Christmas Lip Tint, Santa Baby; it is a lovely matte red that is perfect for this time of year and it does take a lot to smudge it. I have also recently picked up their Fantasy Liquid Eyeliner especially for the festive season this year.

These are just a few brands that I check out however next in line would definitely be Neal’s Yard Remedies, Botanicals and Superdrug’s Own Brand; they always bring out the most dreamiest products.

What are your go-to vegan brands? Are you a regular buyer of any of the above? Let me know if there is any I should check out.
