If there is one brand that I have fell in love with it’s Revolution, previously known as Makeup Revolution. Their Focus & Fix concealer, highlighters and blushers have been go-to products for a long time so you can imagine how excited I was with all their recent releases so I thought it’s about time I shared my thoughts.

The first product I wanted to talk about was the new Conceal & Define concealer. With a whopping 24 shades within the range, guaranteed you will find one suitable for your skin tone. The concealer itself looks a lot more expensive than it actually is and has been reviewed against the Tarte Shape Tape. It’s a lightweight formula but it’s most definitely full coverage as it does a brilliant job of hiding and concealing my dark circles. As you all know by now, I work in retail which means long hours some days of the week. The pigment is long lasting which is one of the factors that I look for when it comes to concealer. Another reason I am all over this concealer is the large doe foot applicator which means you can cover your dark circles using little formulation.

Their highlighters are my favourite makeup products. I’ve not really got a specific one to mention however I highly rate the Soph X Highlight Palette and the Love Conquers All Palette which was limited edition. I think it is the formulation that does it for me. Any of the Revolution highlighters are so pigmented for the price that you pay although I haven’t really compared it against any other brand because it is something that I’ve just discovered in the past year or so. I love the golden shades within the palette the most as it makes your skin look super glowy and healthy during the Spring/Summer months.

Finally I wanted to talk about the newish Fast Base Stick Foundation. Everyone seems to be jumping on the foundation stick bandwagon however if I recall Revolution is one of the first to bring out this new trend. There has been 18 shades all with a range of undertones. Not only can  you use them as a foundation but they are perfect for contouring and highlighting your complexion. After hearing mixed reviews, I thought I would give it a go to see what I thought. I picked up the shade F8 online however I could have probably gone for a lighter shade. Unfortunately it hasn’t over took my love for the GOSH X-Ceptional Wear foundation however it is a brilliant contender if you don’t like spending hours on your makeup. It blends out easily and is super easy to use – I make streaks across my face and then blend it out with my brush. The pigmentation isn’t as long lasting as the concealer however it is nice if your looking for something light to pop on whilst on holiday in the evenings or not wanting something full coverage.

Have you tried any of the new face products from Revolution? What’s your thoughts on the concealer and foundation?
