If you have been a long time reader of my blog, then you will understand my love affair with Barry M and in particular their Gelly Hi-Shines. For this reason, I thought I would give their new Speedy Quick Dry paints a go and see if they live up to their “lightning speed for a perfect mani” claim.
From left to right: In A Heart Beat, Lap Of Honour, Road Rage, Full Throttle
I decided to update my pastels when choosing the colours as mine were getting a bit old. I love the new brush as they make application so easy and a lot quicker. The polishes definitely live up to their claim of being quick dry too as they were dry by the time I had finished painting both hands and luckily enough I only needed two coats before they became opaque with no streaks. However for me the formula didn’t last as long as I hoped. It went two days before my nails started chipping and that was with a top coat as well.
Overall I really enjoyed the polishes especially In A Heart Beat. I do have my eye on some of the new colours like Supersonic which is a gorgeous blue shade and Get Set Go which is a lovely dark rose pink shade.
Have you tried the Barry M’s Speedy Quick Dry paints yet? What are your thoughts?
need to try these honestly last night it took literally an hour for my nail polish to dry and i used the sally Hanson quick dry spray on top!
That is ridiculous! What brand was it? 🙂
